Do what you like, but read the tire threads I think you will find out some amazing info. This is one of the most important parts of getting amazing Fuel economy in your vehicle. Mine are at between 60-70psi regularly some guys here are 80psi or even more. It takes approximately 200psi to pop a tire. If I may suggest, absolutely pump those tires up to their rated pressure which would be 44 psi in your case. I say this to show you how much potential is really in your Saturn. So, I bought a new air filter, inflated my tires to 40, bought 104+ octane boost and filled up with 93 BP gas. The tech said that's probably because of bad gas, poor octane, underinflated tires, and a dirty air filter. He put a scanner on it and showed that all 6 cylinders had misfired at some point and an O2 threw a code. While i was there, I complained about my poor MPG. Well the deal fell through, and i hopped over to the Saturn dealership to get the radio replaced under warranty. I'm sitting in a Toyota Dealership wanting to trade my almost fully loaded Vue for a base model Corolla with roll up windows. No big differences shockingly.įast forward to yesterday. City or Highway seems to equal to be about the same. I'm still in love with 1 and 2, but 3 never achieved those results.
